Talk and Walk for Breast Cancer Survivors

Take part in Talk and Walk, a free, monthly program for breast cancer survivors. Learn about the latest updates in treatment, research, nutrition and more. Meet other survivors and walk at your own pace. The next Talk and Walk takes place Friday, July 26. Meet at Oasis in the Macy’s Home Store at Westfield Montgomery Mall in Bethesda.

The Suburban Hospital Foundation received more than $5.6 million in philanthropic gifts during the 2019 fiscal year (July 1, 2018 – June 30, 2019) to support the campus transformation, nursing initiatives, specialized clinical programs, and staff education and training. Using Innovation for Facial Reconstruction

After a bomb blast destroyed the bones of his face and jaw while serving in Somalia with the U.S. Marines, Scott Bailey underwent nine unsuccessful surgeries and was unable to eat solid food for 25 years. He says he got his life back after Johns Hopkins facial and reconstructive surgeon Shaun Desai, M.D., used 3D printing and virtual surgical planning to reconstruct his jaw.
